Tony Woodward joined the practice in 1989. Tony completed his professional qualifications at Price Waterhouse - Sydney, worked as a Chartered Accountant briefly in
London
before returning to
Sydney
to take the position of manager with BP Woodward & Associates before joining his father as a partner in July 1994. Tony became senior partner on 1st July 2008 when his father Brian retired from the partnership.
Andrew Rigney joined the firm in 1998 while studying for his undergraduate degree at Macquarie University. Andrew was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 and is currently studying his Diploma of Law through the Legal Professions Admissions Board (formerly SAB). Andrew became an Associate of BP Woodward & Associates on 1st July 2006 and then became a partner in the firm on 1st July 2008.
Bernice Bolton joined the firm in 2002. Bernice was a partner in a Chartered Accounting Practice in Johannesburg before moving with her family to Australia. Bernice became an Associate of BP Woodward & Associates on 1st July 2006 and then became a partner in the firm on 1st July 2008. Bernice is currently studying her Masters of Business Administration majoring in marketing and human resource management.
Brian Woodward
BP Woodward & Associates was established by Brian Woodward in 1976. Brian was formerly a partner of Pogson, Woodward and Galanos and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1960. Brian ran the practice as a sole practictioner from 1976 to 1994. In July 1994 Brian saw that his firm had grown to such a size that he decided to take on additional partners. After retiring from practice on 1st July 2008, Brian is now a consultant to the new partnership. His wealth of experience and knowledge is an invaluable resource.
